Reviews and Ratings
The hotel presents a mixed bag. While the cleanliness and comfort of the rooms were commendable, its location left much to be desired as it felt isolated. The service was excellent, making up for the distance to the central attractions. The breakfast was decent, but nothing extraordinary. Overall, it offered good value for money, especially given the price.
The hotel has a well-maintained exterior and lobby, making a decent first impression, but the rooms have a slightly dated feel. It's positioned a bit far from the main eating and shopping areas, which can be inconvenient, especially with heavy luggage. On the upside, it's the last shuttle pickup on the way to the airport, which is a plus if you're flying out soon.
I had an overall decent stay at the Cyan Calafate, but the location left much to be desired. While the staff was very efficient and helpful, and the breakfast offered some tasty local pastries, the climb to the hotel and its remote setting were significant drawbacks. The room was clean and comfortable, but it could have used some updates, especially in the bathroom area.
I stayed at Cyan Calafate for two nights and while the service was excellent and the breakfast had some nice local pastries, the location was definitely a drawback as it felt quite isolated despite being close to the city center. The rooms were clean and of good size, but they showed signs of wear and the bathroom needs some updates. Overall, it was a decent stay, but the distance from restaurants and shops made it less convenient than I had hoped.
While the Cyan Calafate offers excellent customer service and a clean and comfortable atmosphere, its location leaves much to be desired. It’s a good walk to the city center and feels quite isolated. However, the breakfast was enjoyable and the staff went out of their way to assist me with my travel plans, which I appreciated.
